Police yesterday obtained orders from several courts in the Western Province preventing the (SJB) from carrying out protests today, police said.  

Accordingly, the request made by the police to issue orders prohibiting the SJB from holding rallies were approved by the Hulftsdorp Magistrate’s Court 5, Mahara Magistrate Court 1 and 2, Kaduwela, Horana and Homagama Magistrate’s Courts.
