• They had gone for a bath in a lake

The bodies of two individuals who had disappeared in a lake in Lonach Estate in Norton Bridge on Sunday (19) were recovered last morning (20).   

The victims Sinnaiah Raja (38), father of one child, and Sachinda Dilshan (21) were workers in a construction site in the estate.  

The two men had gone for a bath on Sunday evening (19) in the lake supplying water to a livestock farm in the estate and drowned. Police that launched a search operation with the help of the residents of the area recovered the bodies last morning.  

Norton Bridge Police are conducing further investigations.
