Responding to a widespread video that bore witness to a policeman too joining the protesting public to extend his support in Kottawa, the Police said it was not yet proven whether the person wearing the khaki attire similar to police uniform in the video was a policeman.  

During the protest, a man in a khaki dress, wearing a black jacket and a white helmet, addressed a crowd that “we are with you, even though we are in uniform.”  

Police said an investigation is underway to ascertain whether he was a real policeman or belonged to any other service or an 
ordinary man.
