• 2½ hour powercut for Saturday (26) from 9.30 am to 10.00 pm.

Three day power cut schedule until Sunday (26) was announced today by the Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka (PUCSL). 

The powercut schedule for today (24) will be for 2½ hours from 12.00 noon to 10.00 pm.
Also 2½ hour powercut for Saturday (26) from 9.30 am to 10.00 pm.

Meanwhile, a Two hour powercut will be imposed on Sunday (26) from 2.00 pm to 10.00 pm.

They said the approval for power shedding was given following a request from the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB).
The PUCSL regrets the inconvenience caused to its consumers due to prevailing power cuts.
