Sri Lanka is currently grappling with a Dengue epidemic with over 42,000 cases being logged for the year 2023. Sri Lanka has also reported 25 deaths since January.
According to health officials, the worst is yet to come and thus people should brace themselves to face a major outbreak.
As far as the Covid-19 situation is concerned, Sri Lanka is out of the woods; however, several Asian countries like China have experienced a surge in cases. In that context, it is vital to be vigilant and take precautionary measures to avert the virus entering into the country.
