The President of Singapore congratulated President Wickremesinghe on his appointment to the presidency The President of the Republic of Singapore Halimah Yacob congratulated President Ranil Wickremesinghe on his assumption of duties as the 08th Executive President of Sri Lanka. 

The Singapore President thanked President Ranil Wickremesinghe for his message sent on the 08th of August 2022 on the occasion of Singapore’s 57th National Day.  

President Halimah Yacob also wished President Ranil Wickremesinghe success in his new appointment.
