The principal of Angunukolapelessa Mahanaga National School was found dead in the Ussangoda jungle in Kotiara yesterday and his body was recovered by the Hungama Police.   

HQI Hungama Police Krishantha Jayasinha said Principal Nissanka Edissuriya (52) had gone missing from Saturday (23) and his motorcycle had been left by the roadside near the Ussangoda jungle.   He said the police with the help of the residents of the area searched for his body in the jungle. The deceased was a resident of Eraminiyaya in Angunukolapelessa and was a father of two children.   Hungama Police are conducting further investigations.
