Prisoner escapes while being transferred to treatment centre

An inmate at the Boossa Prison who tested positive for COVID-19 has escaped yesterday. Prisons Spokesman Chandana Ekanayake said that the prisoner had escaped while being taken to an intermediate treatment centre in a bus.
