The private bus owners’ associations yesterday claimed that they will operate buses today for the amount of fuel they get for their buses. The Inter-Provincial Private Bus Owners’ Association (IPPBOA) said that nearly 500 buses will operate today, and the Lanka Private Bus Owners’ Association (LPBOA) said that nearly 20 per cent of buses will operate today. 

They said, as the Ministry decided, if the fuel storage facility is established at the Bastian Mawatha Bus Station, it will be easy to operate buses.
