Former MP and Puttalam Urban Council Chairman Abdul Baiz had reportedly died in an accident today.

The 52-year-old Baiz was a Member of Parliament from the Puttalam Electoral District from April 2004 to 2010.

He was also the national organizer of the Sri Lanka Muslim Congress (SLMC).
