Tamil People’s National Alliance (TPNA) MP C. V. Wigneswaran said he considers President Ranil Wickremesinghe as the best candidate among the others.  

Making his remarks to the press after the parliamentary session yesterday, he said the President talked to him in the parliamentary complex but declined to divulge what was discussed .   He said he considers the President as the best candidate among the current aspirants .
