 A factory worker in Koggala Free Trade Zone was run over by train last morning at the level crossing near the FTZ.   

 The 19 year old young man was a resident of Pitiduwa area, and an employee in a boat manufactory. Investigations revealed that he had been using head phones connected to his mobile phone in his shirt pocket and walking along the railway line.  

 The gateman said he shouted out and warned him on the approaching train but to no avail.  

 OIC Habaraduwa Police CI Bandara Dunuwila is conducting further investigations.
