A Russian tourist died in a road accident at Imaduwa on the Southern Expressway on Friday night (05).  

A group of tourists from Colombo were on their way to a hotel in Weligama, when the bus transporting them crashed into a lorry running in the same direction. 

 
The victim Addulin ildar (45) had died on admission to the Karapitiya Teaching Hospital.  Investigations revealed that the driver had fallen asleep and lost control of the bus.  Imaduwa Police are conducting investigations.
