Says both parties have accepted that the President’s economic programme will bring about stability to the nation

Both Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) and National People’s Power (NPP) have secretly accepted that policies of incumbent President Ranil Wickremesinghe is the way forward, Minister Prasanna Ranatunga said.   

“Both parties have accepted that the President’s economic programme will bring about stability to the nation,” he added.   

“There is no point in trying out other leaders at this year’s presidential election. People should decide whether they want to suffer once again or not. Sri Lanka would not need a new leader as the country will be stabilized if Wickremesinghe is reelected to presidency,” the Minister told a public gathering.
