Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) yesterday urged President Gotabaya Rajapaksa and Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe to resign from their posts.   

Issuing a special statement SJB General Secretary Ranjith Madduma Bandara said both the President and Prime Minister should resign as they have failed even to give any indication that they would resolve the present crisis.   

The President is only interested in safeguarding the interests of his family while the Prime Minister has failed to keep his promise of facilitating the Gallle Face protesters.
