• He has failed to resolve fertilizer issue

Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) Parliamentary group is to meet on Thursday to make the final decision on the no confidence motion against Minister of Agriculture Mahindananda Aluthgamage, an MP from the party said yesterday.

SJB National Organiser Tissa Attanayake told Daily Mirror that the idea has been mooted to bring in a no confidence motion against Minister Aluthgamage who is being criticised by many. “We thought of bringing in a no confidence motion against the Minister, as many have spoken against him lately. He has failed to resolve the fertilizer issue,” Mr. Attanayake said.

“We have had an initial discussion pertaining to the move via Zoom, but we decided to meet once again when Parliament meets this week on Thursday. We will make the final decision on the matter during this meeting,” he added.
