The number of COVID deaths reported in Sri Lanka is 10 times higher than the COVID deaths reported from India, Rajarata University Medicine Faculty Prof. Suneth Angampodi said.  

He tweeted saying that the number of daily COVID positive cases reported from Sri Lanka is four times higher than the cases reported from India. Also, the number of COVID deaths in Sri Lanka is higher than the COVID deaths reported at the height of COVID expansion in India. Yet, the test per case -1/8th of India. The high fatality is entirely due to under reporting of cases, Prof. Angampodi said in his Twitter post.
