SLC funded JVP? Prasanna raises doubts

The doubt that the SLC had funded the JVP have been further proved when NPP MP Vijitha Herath was trying to create a different opinion claiming that the President and his staff were against the moves taken by the Sports Minister regarding the SLC, Chief Government Whip Prasanna Ranatunge said today.  

He told Parliament that it was the President who said it was pointless talking about issues of the SLC without amending the Sports Act.  
“It is the President who wanted to include the proposal to amend the Sports Act in the resolution. 

NPP MP Vijitha Herath is trying to create a different opinion when all 255 MPs join hands, saying that the President and his staff are against the moves taken by the Sports Minister. The doubt that the SLC funded the JVP is further proved when MP Herath is making such statements. I can’t prove the SLC funded the JVP,” he said.
