A Sub Inspector (SI) of Police Special Task Force (STF) attached to the Gonahena STF Camp has committed suicide by shooting himself at the camp.  The 59-year-old SI who was in charge of the armoury at the Gonahena STF camp in Kadawatha, is a father of two.  The victim was identified as a resident of Jalthara, Kaduwela.
