Based on the humanitarian efforts of Saudi Arabia to alleviate the suffering of low-income people and afflicted communities around the world, and under the generous directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, King of Saudi Arabia, and Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre in Saudi Arabia implemented a volunteer project to combat blindness in “Walasmulla” in southern Sri Lanka and “Kattankudy” in eastern Sri Lanka during the period from 06 to 16 September 2023.
