Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna National List MP Seetha Arambepola said if former President Gotabaya Rajapaksa wants to enter Parliament, she is ready to resign from her position and pave the way for the former president.  

 She said that no request for that has been made from the SLPP or any other party so far. She said that while there have been no discussions on this within the party and she believes that the former president has no intention of coming back to Parliament, she however is ready to give up her seat if he decides to enter politics again.
