A group of Ministers who met Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe yesterday said they are ready to resign as soon as an agreement is reached to form an all-party government.

“Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe met cabinet ministers yesterday, July 11, 2022. All the Ministers who participated in the discussion were of the opinion that as soon as there is an agreement to form an All-Party Government, they are ready to hand over their responsibilities to that Government,” the Prime Minister’s office said. 

It was reported that few SLFP MPs also participated in the meeting, while some others joined in the meeting through Zoom.
