One man held a solo protest in favour of Public Utilities Commission Chairman Janaka Ratnayake who is expected to be removed from his post after Parliament approved a motion to that effect.   

“I have decided to hold a solo protest as Mr. Ratnayake has stood up on behalf of the people.  He fought against the tariff hike and filed an FR petition on behalf of us. It is the duty of all Sri Lankans to protect him,” he said.
