The Tamil People in Sri Lanka remember with gratitude the statements issued by the Elders’ Group in solidarity with us and standing by our own struggle to attain political freedom. Archbishop Tutu lived and showed the world that ‘there is no future without forgiveness’,  the title of one of his books.
