• Says UNP should be prepared for any eventuality

The present government is likely to end its reign by end of this year, UNP Deputy Leader Ruwan Wijewardene said yesterday.  Addressing a large gathering at UNP headquarters Sirikotha, Mr. Wijewardene said UNP should be prepared for any eventuality.  

“We have to expand our party and enhance membership during this year. People want those who have the ability to revive the country’s economy and therefore UNP should make a note of it and consolidate it’s position,” he said.   
UNP General Secretary Palitha Range Bandara and other seniors of the party were present at the gathering.
