Thank you card from royal family

A young man of Kanthale has received a thank you card from Buckingham Palace for wishing King Charles iii, and his wife, Princess Camila on the occasion of his coronation.  

R.W.Malith Thiwanka who considers it a privilege, said he spent Rs.300 as postage to post the congratulatory card prepared by him to the Buckingham palace and that He had received a thank you giving card signed by the royalty and a photo of the royal family.   

“I used special wordings adopted from the internet to address the Royal family and to write my best wishes in English. However I did not expect a reply. I received the reply under cover carrying the seal of the royal family. It would have been a very rare occurrence if an ordinary individual in Sri Lanka had ever received such a letter from the Royal family.
