Investigations were launched after three male bodies were found in three separate locations in Colombo yesterday.  Two unidentified male bodies have been found from Wellawatta and Bambalapitiya beaches, police said.

The Wellawatta Police said the body of the naked male was found washed ashore near the Wellawatta beach area. 
The other body was found from the beach at Marine Drive in Bambalapitiya. 

The Wellawatta and Bambalapitiya Police are conducting further investigations to determine the cause of the death and the identity. 
The bodies will be kept at the Colombo South Teaching Hospital for further identification after a magisterial inquiry, police said. Meanwhile, another male body was found floating on a canal near the Kolonnawa Petroleum Storage Terminals. The Dematagoda Police are conducting further investigations to identify the victim and cause of the death.
