• Five passengers were injured in the mishap

At least five passengers had received injuries in a collision of two trains at Peralanda on the mainline last morning.

General Manager, Railways said a train had bumped against the rear of a train running in one direction at Peralanda.  He said that no major damage had not been caused to the trains and that the injured were out of danger.

However, he said steps had already been taken to investigate the incident.
