Pivithuru Hela Urumaya (PHU) leader MP Udaya Gammanpila who denied that he gave money to fraudster Thilini Priyamali, yesterday lodged a complaint with the Criminal Investigations Department (CID).   
A list of names of those who purportedly gave her money is doing the rounds on social media. Mr. Gammanpila’s name is also in it.

   
Calling it a fake list, he said only the names of MPs who were harshly critical of the government recently had been included in this fake list.   

“The names of those who widely amassed wealth and spent during election times are not included in the list. They are the ones widely perceived as fraudsters,” he said.
