There was an unexpected disruption of water supply for 12 hours last night in the Kotte, Kaduwela, Dehiwala and Mt. Lavinia Municipal Council areas due to an electricity failure at the Ambatale Water Treatment Plant in Colombo.
It also affected the Maharagama, Boralasgamuwa and Kollonnawa Urban Council areas and the Kotikawatta-Mulleriyawa Pradeshiya Sabha areas.
