• MC Secretary Geethani D. Lokuwella was doused in waste oil by an outside individual

Wattala Police have begun an investigation after the secretary of the Wattala Municipal Council was attacked with waste oil during a meeting yesterday.   It was reported that the monthly meeting of the Wattala MC commenced last morning chaired by the council’s Chairman Mark Anthony.   

Suddenly, the MC Secretary Geethani D. Lokuwella was doused in waste oil by an individual who entered the MC’s meeting hall when a group of the council’s opposition members were preparing for a poster campaign against the Secretary.
