State Minister Dr. Sudarshani Fernandopulle yesterday advised people to wear two facemasks if possible as the Coronavirus is spreading fast.  

She said it was very important to wear a face shield when going outdoors. She also advised people to get a Covid vaccine from the nearest vaccination centre without being choosy. 

She said some people who were expecting to migrate were waiting for a certain brand of vaccines. "First we need to live, then think about migrating. It is absurd to choose between a brand of vaccines," she said.
