Minister Kanchana Wijesekera yesterday requested all three-wheeler users to register their vehicles at their respective area police stations and to get one filling station nominated for refueling before July 31.
He said three-wheelers will only be allowed to obtain fuel from their registered fuel station from August 1.
Moreover, he said, vehicle users who cannot register with the chassis number will be able to register with the revenue license from Friday (29).

Accordingly, the users of 49cc bikes have to register with the Motor Traffic Department (DMT) to obtain their licenses and register with the National Fuel Pass (NFP) portal in order to get their fuel quota, the Minister added.
