What we have said years before had come true: Harin and Manusha

• We talked about the conspiracy behind the Easter Sunday attacks even when some in the opposition kept mum about it

Two Ministers Harin Fernando and Manusha Nanayakkara who referred to the channel 4 video on Easter Sunday attack yesterday said the remarks they made on the attacks four years ago had come true today and is being amply proved.   “What we said about the conspiracy behind the Easter Sunday attack had come true and is being proved before the eyes of the whole world,” the two ministers said in a joint statement.  

“We were attacked by many forces when we came out with various disclosures. Even the leaders of the religion which we follow made false allegations against us,” they said.   
“We talked about the conspiracy behind the Easter Sunday attacks even when some in the opposition kept mum about it. However MPs such as Kavinda Jayawardene, Eran Wickramaratne, Nalin Bandara and Hector Appuhamy were with us in this matter,” they added. 

 
“We extended a conditional support to President Ranil Wickremesinghe in 2022 and finding the masterminds behind the Easter Sunday attacks is one of the conditions we put forward. This is the only condition which is yet to be fulfilled by President Wickremesinghe.   

“The need for an impartial probe on the attack is needed today than ever before,” they further said.
