Chief of Staff to Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa, Yoshitha Rajapaksa today denied rumours that he was attempting to secure a stake in the domestic gas business. 

He said he did not own any gas company and there was a fake propaganda being spread to tarnish his image.   
Yoshitha, the son of Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa told Daily Mirror that such stories had been fabricated to bring the government into disrepute.  

He said it was yet another blatant fabrication similar to the one that he owned a golden horse.
