• Arrested on charges of damaging public property during a protest at Bank of Ceylon Mawatha

YouTuber and social media activist Rathindu Senaratne, also known as Ratta has been arrested by the Colombo South Divisional Crime Detective Bureau (DCDB) last evening, Police Spokesman SSP Nihal Thalduwa said.  

He was arrested subsequent to recording of a statement.  

Meanwhile, Counsel for Rathindu Senaratne said that he was arrested over a case filed at the Fort Magistrate’s Court on charges of damaging public property during a protest at Bank of Ceylon Mawatha on May 21.
