Some MPs including those from the SJB are being wooed by the promise of ministerial portfolios

As speculation is rife in political circles that a prominent Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) MP is to cross over shortly, Leader of Opposition Sajith Premadasa said auctioning of ministries have begun.

“Some MPs including those from the SJB are being wooed by the promise of ministerial portfolios. An auction of ministries is on. We have heard that new ministers are to be be sworn in soon ,” he said.

“I would like to categorically state that no one in the SJB will fall for the offers of ministries.

No one in the SJB will forget those who brought them up,” he added. “There will be an election soon though the government is trying to postpone it. We will force an election soon,” he said.

Sajith was willing to put up Dullas as President to try wrangle the Prime Minister job during the recent contest, so what did Sajith auction up for that? These auction games in parliament happened enough during UNP governments. In 1949, all Hill Country Tamil Sri Lankan, with Indian ancestry were stripped of their voting rights by UNP government. Those disgusting acts are never mentioned about, or apologised for... just this auction talk is all that happens with useless SJB leader, an idiot child of the historically shown to be racist UNP.
