Ceylon Workers’ Congress leader Arumugam Thondaman said that his party would give unconditional support to President Mahinda Rajapaksa at the forthcoming presidential election.
 Informed sources said that Thondaman had informed this to the President during a meeting with the latter at Temple Trees last morning.
