The MSBA will host its 32nd League Tournament this year from the 9th of September to the 22nd of November at the Royal College Indoor Complex. All matches will be played on weekdays starting at 5.30 pm. There will be 53 teams taking part this year competing in 6 men’s divisions and 3 women’s divisions. A total of 636 players have registered to play this year in the tournament which will comprise 130 games.

 

The MSBA which has paved the way for many basketball players to get into the corporate sector being the most active association in the country and hosting tournament annually. There have been many basketball players representing the corporate sector and have gone on to represent the country in international tournaments.

 

The draw for the tournament was held on the 28th of August 2024 at the Jetwing Colombo Seven, Ward Place, Colombo 07.
