Women in Management (WIM) in partnership with IFC, a member of the World Bank Group, has presented Fiona Juriansz Munasinghe the Gold award in the ‘Marketing’ category at the 2017 ‘Top 50 Professional and Career Women Awards’ presented in Colombo recently.
Now in its seventh edition, the ‘Top 50 Professional and Career Women Awards’ celebrates the achievements of remarkable women who inspire those around them through their astounding achievements in their careers, businesses and everyday lives.
The awards presentation held at the Taj Samudra Hotel was graced by the Opposition Leader, Ministers, Members of Parliament, Diplomats, professionals in businesses and the public service, women leaders from various industries and the Inspector General of Police. The awards were presented in several categories including Public Sector, Private Sector, Enterpreneurship, Media, Advertising, HR, Marketing, Finance and CSR.
Currently Hemas Consumer Brands Marketing General Manager, Munasinghe was nominated by her employer for the award. She heads a team of Brand Custodians overlooking three of the largest and most competitive categories in which Hemas operates as well as one of the company’s future growth categories.
