Illegally imported 12 motor vehicles valued at Rs. 55,000,000/- were apprehended by the Customs Risk Management Unit (RMU). This consignment arrived in Sri Lanka on December 23, 2020, in 3 forty footer containers from Singapore by declaring as ’’Generator parts’’ in the Bill of Lading. Cargo weight is declared as 12,140 kg.
