IT IS ONLY THE LAW ABIDING CITIZENS WHO WOULD BE CONCERNED WITH THE DELAYS WHEREAS THE WRONG DOERS OF WHATEVER CATEGORY WILL BE HAPPY OF GREATER DELAYS.

So, who can afford a long drawn court case and at what cost. Justice denied and justice not delivered. Another cause of exploitation to the abandonment of those innocent.

Petty cases that can be settled at Reconciliation Boards fill courts I noticed. This will be a relief if these cases are settle at Samatha Mandalaya. But it is also important that people with wisdom should be selected to Samatha Mandalaya. Sadly it is not always happening due to politics.

There may have been a decrease in Court Cases in recent times because many were disposed of
under "NIDOSKOTA NIDAHAS " .

One million pending cases in the courts is a national tragedy. It is the blunders of the politicians and their cronies trying to interfere with the police and not to mention the roles played by the lawyers in postponing cases deliberately. All in all it is abuse of power by manipulating the rule of law. Finally it is affecting the people ended up in parting huge loss of money and still cases are pending.
