Colombo, October 18 (Daily Mirror) - The Irrigation Department has withdrawn all flood warnings issued for the Kelani Ganga and Attanagalu Oya, Irrigation (Hydrology) Director S.P.C. Sugeeshwara said.

The flood warnings were issued on October 11, 2024, due to the heavy rains prevailing in the country.

He also said that the department is continually monitoring rainfall conditions across the island and the water levels of major rivers.

Also he mentioned that all arrangements have been made to issue prior warnings and information about potential flood situations if necessary.
