Anura Kumara has already won; no reason to panic: Vijitha

Colombo, September 22 (Daily Mirror)- National People's Power (NPP) Presidential candidate Anura Kumara Dissanayake has already won and there is no reason to panic, NPP MP Vijitha Herath said today.

He said Anura Kumara has won with a gap of 1.3 million votes and that the counting of the second and third preferences will have no impact on the final result.

"The Elections Commission announced the counting on the second and third preferences as none of the candidates have secured over 50 percent. Second and third preferences are need to be counted as per election laws if the candidates fail to secure over 50 percent. The process of counting the second and third preferences is underway and the final results will be announced within a few hours," he said.

they need to worry only if a foreign spy hiding in Colombo and set bomb and put the blame on JVP to create chaos and anarchy. One local spy who runaway to west during the Rajapasa-Fonsaka quarrel told more recently in Youtube, if JVP come to power he would set up army and JVP against one another. So, please keep eye on.

You need 50.1 % , AKD has only 42% do far. 2nd preference count may bring up Sajith. He could be winner , but AKD willnot let him govern the country, he will launch another Aragalaya tomorrow.
