How many of the Minister’s are knowledgeable on the conditions of the IMF loans? Most must be blindly following the others voting for it and called it a hard days of work! The qualifications of these Ministers should be published and verified by the concerned institutions if they did actually achieve the passing grade.

So you are agreeing to these bailouts. That’s why they love people like you to vote them in again. How many IMF and other international loans have they taken over the years? It’s become a norm and you and a few others must be benefiting from them unlike the average citizen who’s struggling to have decent meals and lifestyles.

No restructuring plan needed right now to be approved by the cabinet, but await new government to take over to determine the issue with IMF. Hopefully, patching up their loan amount to independently carry forward our mission to achieve self-sufficiency for better SriLanka for the future generation will be considered by the new government coming into power after october this year, sending Ranil home.

WHEN HUGE LOANS ARE BY BANKS USUALLY PROPERTY DEEDS AND OR SURETY BONDS ARE REQUIRED, SO IF ONE DEFAULTS THE BANKS GO AFTER THE PROPERTY AND OR WHOEVER SIGNED/GAVE THE SURETY. IN TRHIS CASE I BELIEVE THESE LOANS WILL BUILD FOR FOR GENERATIONS TO COME AND OR TILL THE COUNTRY GOES TOTALLY BANKRUPT (CORRECT ME IF I AM WRONG). WE WILL THEN SEE CHINA COME OVER AND CLAIM OUR COUNTRY AND WE ALL KNOW WHAT THIS RESULT WILL BE, SO LOOK TOWARDS INDIA AND KEEP OUR DISTANCE WITH CHINA, RUSSIA, IRAN AND NORTH KOREA.

The agreement is only with bilateral creditors. They are relatively small. Largest and highest interest creditors are commercial creditors for ISBs. No agreement with them so far. SL gains very little.
