Five including two Chinese, one Indian nabbed with illegal cigerattes, whiskey

Katunayake, August 28 (Daily Mirror)- Five individuals including two Chinese nationals and an Indian national have been arrested by the airport Customs while attemtping to smuggle in a stock of foreign cigerattes, whiskey and satellite television transmission equipment, worth more than Rs. 15.8 million to the country.

Two Chinese nationals, an Indian national and two Sri Lankans were arrested with the stock of goods.

The contraband is to be confiscated and the suspects were ordered to pay a fine of Rs. 300,000.
