Colombo, November 15 (Daily Mirror)- Ilankai Tamil Arasu Kadchi (ITAK)won the postal vote in Batticaloa District securing 5,236 votes.

The National People’s Power (NPP) came second with 3,412 votes.

Thamil Makkal Viduthalai Pulikal (TMVP) secured 1,383 votes while Sri Lanka Muslim Congress (SLMC) secured 1,019 votes.

Ilankai Tamil Arasu Kadchi (ITAK) came second securing 3,228 votes while All Ceylon Tamil Congress secured 2,396 votes.

Ealam People's Democratic Party secured 1,104 votes.
