Jeevan Thondaman appears before court

Colombo. July 29 (Daily Mirror) - Ceylon Workers' Congress (CWC) General Secretary Minister Jeevan Thondaman and three others today (29) appeared before court through a motion.

However, the Magistrate told the court that since the police have not named any of the suspects, the case will be called on the 26th of next month.

This is in connection with a complaint that the Minister and several of his supporters on May 30, entered the tea factory in Pedro Estate in Nuwara Eliya and held the staff hostage for several hours.
