Colombo, July 16 (Daily Mirror) - While condemning the false statements by various media, the Education Ministry said that aesthetic subjects are an essential part of general education in the proposed education reforms.

Accordingly, an announcement has been issued by the Ministry regarding aesthetic subjects.

Aesthetic subjects can be studied further in junior secondary education, senior secondary education, and at the GCE Ordinary Level and Advanced Level.

Aesthetic subjects will remain for students who sit for the A/L exams.
