Over 3.8 million voters abstain from voting

Despite the high turnout, a total of 3,820,738 registered voters did not cast their votes at the Presidential election held on September 21.

Out of the 17,140,354 registered voters, only 79.46% participated, with a total of 13,619,916 votes polled.
